Moncton Office Update
I’m excited to announce a few realignments within our organization effective Wednesday, Oct.16.
Krista Wilson will be sliding over from her seat in operations, to our Administration department, concentrating primarily on Accounts Receivable. She will be reporting directly to Rhonda Leslie in this very key role. Krista will also continue her role working closely with operations as the key contact person when dealing with our customers for the collection of detention dollars owed to our drivers.

It is official !! Brandon, Jenifer and Chase have made the move from Nova Scotia. The Coles are now members of the Keltic “Moncton” family. Effective tomorrow, Jenifer will assume her role here in Moncton, in logistics Operations servicing the Lassonde account along with other Dartmouth logistics customers.
Brandon, will continue to work in trucking Operations. His schedule will change from his current Thursday to Monday, to Monday to Friday. He will have a number of duties and responsibilities within our operation that will be outlined in a future email to all.

The Keltic Family Continues To Grow - Oakville Office Team
Cindy Zupaanovic , started with our Oakville office as a Logistics Coordinator on Jan 21, 2013, she came to us with tremendous amount of administration and customer service experience in many industries including transportation.
It is with great pleasure I am able to announce that Bob Sykes has joined the Keltic Team here in Oakville ,as of October 16th, 2013, as Operations Manager. Bob will be leading the day to day operations.
Bob comes to Keltic with over 18 years of operational experience within the 3PL world. We are looking forward to having Bob, his knowledge and additional resources in our operation!
Toby Davies has joined the Keltic Team, as of October 21st, 2013, here in Oakville as a Business Development Manager. Toby, comes to Keltic with over 18 years of 3PL experience. We are looking forward to having Toby here as part of our Team.
Warehousing Facility Available
Oct/13 Keltic Transportation has a warehouse facility available immediately to rent in Lewisport, Newfoundland. The facility has the capacity to handle any product that may require storage, from small boxes to electrical transformers weighing in excess of 75,000 lbs. The facility, one of the largest in Newfoundland, provides 12 loading docks, 110,000 square feet of indoor heated storage, full three tier racking, preventative maintenance and 20,000 square feet of concrete pad exterior storage among other amenities. Keltic Teams up with the MFA and CFL
Sept/13 On Friday September 20th, 2013 several Keltic employees were a part of the annual Canadian Football League (CFL) golf tournament in support of the Moncton Minor Football Association (MFA). The golf event was held at Royal Oaks and Keltic was a sponsor on the fourth hole while Sandra was on the planning committee. In the first foursome was Noel, Brandon Mullins, Scott Mahar, and comedian Jimmy Flynn. The second foursome consisted of Sandra, Melanie, Jaime, and Kelly. Sandra and Brandon both had fantastic golf days and won the longest drive for the men and women’s divisions respectively.
Although it was a beautiful, sunny day in Moncton on Saturday, the Montreal Alouettes were out shined by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats who roared to life and beat Montreal 28-26. Keltic has been involved in this event for several years and continues to pledge their support to the MFA. Earlier in the season Brandon also played in the Friends of Moncton Hospital Foundation tournament which raised over $62,000.00 in its 13th year!
Keltic continues to support various foundations and organizations across Moncton and is happy to say that the proceeds of casual Friday is going to the United Way, turkeys for the local food bank, and to sponsor families in need around the holiday season.
Happy 16th Anniversary!
Jun/13 On June 3rd, 2013 Keltic celebrated its 16th anniversary. Keltic wouldn’t be who and where we are today if it wasn’t for our dedicated, hard-working, and loyal staff, drivers, operators and customers. We truly appreciate and thank you for everything you do to make us a wonderful and successful company. Looking forward to another 16 years and many new adventures along the way!
Oakville Office Update
May/13 On May 17th, 18th, and 19th one of our Oakville Team Members, Louis Viveiros led a team of volunteers to help raise money to buy meat, bread, sweet bread and wine for a weekend total of 1600 people during The Holy Spirit feast. Louis not only works hard here at Keltic, but within the Brampton Community. Special thanks go out to one of our great customers CKF, in Rexdale, for donating the soup bowls and the take out plates.
Miramichi Food Bank Donation
Apr/13 On Saturday April 20th, 2013 Keltic donated and delivered 900 lbs. of fresh potatoes to the Miramichi food bank. Earlier that week 15 ten pound bags were delivered to the Rogersville Food Bank and ten bags to the Karing Kitchen here in Moncton. Thanks to all involved!
Mar/13 Keltic employee Vickey recently had the unique experience of hand-delivering a giant cheque to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation’s annual Radiothon.
Keltic donated a total of $2,000.00 and the funds were tremendously received. Vickey was thanked many times by staff and volunteers who appreciated the generosity, when in reality it was the Keltic family thanking them for all they do. The funds raised will be used to replace aging equipment at our hospital.

Feb/13 Keltic Transportation recieved an Employer Of Choice designation awarded by THRSC Atlantic.
Keltic Implements Trailer Tracking
Nov/12 To better manage its fleet Keltic is outfitting all it trailers with GPS tracking units. This will ensure the safety of cargo, help optimize asset utilization and provide more accurate and timely information to customers.
Annual U.S. Thanksgiving Celebration
Nov/12 Keltic celebrated U.S. Thanksgiving this month with a traditional deep fried turkey with all the fixings and also enjoyed the football game as well as other fun games and activities. A few customers also decided to attend this year’s celebration and joined in on the fun.
Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort
Nov/12 Florence Goddard of Salisbury, NB started a donation/collection drive for the victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey; Keltic was eager to help out by graciously donating a trailer and the transportation of the goods to New Jersey. Keltic Transportation lends Support to needy Montreal families
February/10 For the second year in a row, Keltic Transportation has teamed up with Hamilton Tiger-Cat Marwan Hage and not-for-profit FTC Canada to provide food and hygiene boxes to Montreal families in need.
The Moncton-based transporation based company donated to bring 900 boxes from FTC’s Guelph warehouse to the Sun Youth Organization’s downtown Montreal

October/09- Keltic Transportation Inc. was recently awarded with a “Beautification Award” by the Moncton Industrial Parks Association. This award recognizes the professional appearance of Keltic’s new head office, along with the landscaping that was completed during this past summer.

June 9/09- SmartWay, a division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), approved Keltic Transportation Inc. as a SmartWay Transport Partner. Keltic achieved the highest possible rating of 1.2525 and qualified to use the SmartWay Partner Logo. SmartWay is a partnership between government, shippers and carriers that promotes environmentally cleaner, more fuel efficient transportation options.
